Great Waterway Views

Overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway in the Restaurant Row section of Highway 17, the restaurant resembles an authentic Fisherman’s Wharf Village. One side of the structure features a 40-foot waterfall and a lazy river wraps around the entire village. There is even a 50-foot lighthouse reminiscent of those still standing in Nova Scotia. The real eye-catcher, however, is our big, fat giant crab perched just above the entrance. He’s affectionately referred to as “Tommy.” He leads the way to the overwhelming feast that waits inside!

The Giant Crab Seafood Restaurant boasts, I dare say, a “gigantic” array of as much seafood as you can imagine and is simply the ultimate choice in tasty buffet dining. It’s spectacular, to say the least, and will cause seafood lovers to moan with delight. In addition to broiled, fried and baked seafoods, mouthwatering dishes like Crab Imperial, stuffed mushrooms, Oysters Rockefeller are found on the, I can’t help it …. “colossal” buffet. There’s also a Steam Bar that offers a “boat-load” variety of steamed and cooked shellfish including peel-and-eat shrimp, steamed oysters (when available), mussels, clams and those much-loved crablegs.

And, if your hungry-man appetite doesn’t call for seafood, that’s not a problem! Stop at the seemingly “never-ending” carving station for juicy prime rib, cooked melt-in-your-mouth tender and delicious Virginia Ham, roast beef, barbecued beef ribs and delectable Feta Chicken. Along with pasta that’s made to order and naturally, there are plenty of fresh vegetables to compliment it all. Oh, there is still more … an extensive variety of savory homemade soups, outrageous salads, freshly baked bread and a magnificent dessert bar laden with scrumptious cakes, cobblers, fresh fruit (in season), ice cream and even our award winning Kataifi.

The younger maties of the family will love the Kids Corner, a buffet filled with the foods kids love. Hamburgers, pizza, chicken fingers, corn dogs, hot dogs and french fries all are there!
